Shawna is a beautiful High School Senior graduating from Eustace High Shool in Henderson County, Eustace, Texas. She was a pleasure to work with both in the studio and location. The images in this slideshow were shot around the Downtown Athens, Texas area.

Amber & Eric – East Texas Engagement Portraits

Amber and Eric are a super nice couple currently living in Houston but getting married right here in East Texas at the beautiful Victorian House located in Kaufman, Texas. Their recent engagement session was done partially in our portrait studio and partially outside. They are a lighthearted funny couple who enjoys laughing. Just my kind of people! Dana & Thor’s Dallas Texas Wedding

Dana & Thor’s special day was held at The Filter Building at White Rock Lake in Dallas Texas. It was a beautiful setting for this wedding ceremony and reception. The bride and groom were easy to work with and their wedding party was game for a few fun photos. When I suggested the groomsmen do something silly they had fun ‘beating’ the groom. This was beautiful, fun, lighthearted event and these images are a small sample of some of my favorites.

Parks Family Portrait Session

The Parks family is always a pleasure to photograph and with the addition of newborn Sam, it was all the more fun. Little Sam was all smiles and bright eyes coming in the door, but after a nice little meal and a burp sleep quickly became the theme of the shoot. We caught a few images with his eyes open and his little face all round and smiling but then his sleepy eyes gave in and the rest of the shoot was more like posing a precious doll. And a precious doll he was! Next it was time for the Mom & Sam portion and we were fortunate enough to have a few smiles and those bright eyes again. Soon after, the rest of the family joined in. Dad and Sam’s big sister Hannah added quite the fun to the shoot, having a great father/daughter banter going on. The studio was filled with fun and laughs and Sam even joined in with more smiles and those bright eyes. What a great family to work with. Enjoy the images of The Parks Family!

Farrah`s Boudoir Session

I really enjoying shooting boudoir sessions but unfortunately I do not get to share the images from these sessions very often. Understandably, the women who pose for these intimate portraits many times do not want their session posted online. While a boudoir session generally does not include any nudity they are sexy and personal portraits usually created for a lover or partner. I was happy when Farrah said to me “I am so proud of these images feel free to use them in your portfolio or post them to your blog” . I have known Farrah for years. She has worked for me as a photographer for quite a while and is a dear friend. Her photo shoot was shot on a snowy day in Feb. We ,of course, had to take advantage of the rare day of snow in our small East Texas town. Farrah is adventurous and relished the idea of venturing outside in her lingerie to do some photographs in the snow. I have never photographed a boudoir session in the snow so I was certainly game:) Of course, it was cold and we didn’t stay out there for long before moving back into the studio to create some classic and beautiful portraits.
