Amber and Eric are a super nice couple currently living in Houston but getting married right here in East Texas at the beautiful Victorian House located in Kaufman, Texas. Their recent engagement session was done partially in our portrait studio and partially outside. They are a lighthearted funny couple who enjoys laughing. Just my kind of people! Skylar’s Senior Session

Skylar chose a formal dress from a past event as one of her outfits. Skylar told us that when she bought it she vowed she would wear it for her Senior photo shoot to get more out of it. As you can see from the resulting images, it was a good choice. She looked like a model, with the fan blowing and the netting flying. Good job Skylar. Following the ‘in-studio’ portion, Skylar had asked for a tire swing to have photos taken on. Being the ever accommodating photo studio, we hung one just for the occasion. Her choice of outfits for the outdoors were perfect, as you can see. The last location was for Mom, and a family effort it was. She wanted the ever popular Blue Bonnet photo, with bubbles & barefoot. Dad ran to buy some bubbles, we carefully picked our way through the aromatic blossoms and captured some beautiful images. It was a great shoot!

Farrah`s Boudoir Session

I really enjoying shooting boudoir sessions but unfortunately I do not get to share the images from these sessions very often. Understandably, the women who pose for these intimate portraits many times do not want their session posted online. While a boudoir session generally does not include any nudity they are sexy and personal portraits usually created for a lover or partner. I was happy when Farrah said to me “I am so proud of these images feel free to use them in your portfolio or post them to your blog” . I have known Farrah for years. She has worked for me as a photographer for quite a while and is a dear friend. Her photo shoot was shot on a snowy day in Feb. We ,of course, had to take advantage of the rare day of snow in our small East Texas town. Farrah is adventurous and relished the idea of venturing outside in her lingerie to do some photographs in the snow. I have never photographed a boudoir session in the snow so I was certainly game:) Of course, it was cold and we didn’t stay out there for long before moving back into the studio to create some classic and beautiful portraits. Here’s a few of my favorites from Farrah’s session:

Kemp High School Senior Trey W.

Trey will be graduating this year from Kemp High School. We shot his senior portrait session outside behind the photo studio and at a couple of spots in downtown Mabank, Texs. Trey’s great attitude made him a fun subject to photograph.He brought along his beautiful dog ,Duke, who also hammed it up for the camera. Trey thanks for showing me your invention. Its genius and funny at the same time!

Priscilla & Ryan’s Wedding

Priscilla & Ryan’s wedding photography story starts with their engagement portrait session which we shot at the Dallas Arboretum followed by Priscilla’s bridal portrait session taken in the Turtle Creek Park area in Dallas, Texas. The wedding ceremony was held at Royal Lane Baptist Church with a beautiful reception at the Sheraton Downtown Dallas. Priscilla is a super sweet person. Combined with Ryan’s laid back, easy going personality and you have a very likable couple that was very easy to work with. Congratulations Priscilla and Ryan! It really was a pleasure working with you and your families!

Friends of the Animals Calendar Shoot

If you know me at all you know that I am a huge animal lover so when the local organization Friends of the Animals asked for some help with their calendar I happily agreed to donate my time and photographic skills to this very worthwhile project.
